Lady Marauders fall to #2 HSE

The Lady Marauders lost on the road 4-1 at HSE. MV failed to get consistent attack in the first half but handled the pressure pretty well defending a formidable attack from HSE. One questionable goal ???? (couldn’t resist) to kick things off and a goal in the closing seconds put the Marauders in a tight spot. After a quick regroup at halftime and some adjustments the Marauders kicked off the second half getting a goal in the first ten minutes to pull back to 2-1. The next 10 minutes saw the Marauders have more attack leading up to an Isger strike that could not have been any more perfect and the HSE keeper making a world class save to keep the score line. That was the the play halted the momentum that could have really changed the game. “That is a great team. Kelley up top is a legit player of the year candidate and there are few weaknesses in . I thought in 30 min of the second half we looked great, composed, and together. Tonight it just wasn’t enough for sure but a lot of good to take away and some things that showed us where to focus and get better. Win or learn.”
The Marauders kick off the tournament next Thursday at New Pal.
