Opening

Community School Corporation of Southern Hancock County recently issued the following announcement.

CSCSHC has officially opened their out-of-district application process for the 2020-2021 school year.

Students who live outside of Southern Hancock's district boundaries who wish to enroll must complete an application and return it to the CSCSHC Administration Office prior to July 24th, 2020.

Click here to download the out-of-district transfer application.

Applications will not be considered unless all required information is included. The review process for applications will begin on March 6th, 2020. It may take up to 30 days to process your application.

Once completed, please return your application to the CSCSHC Administration Office. Send via email to Amber Rush at arush@newpal.k12.in.us or send by mail to PO Box 508, New Palestine, IN, 46163.

As part of the application process, parents of potential students must acknowledge the following:

  • Conditions of School Policies 5111 and 6150.
  • Transportation of out-of-district students is not CSCSHC's responsibility. Transportation to and from school for out-of-district students must be provided by the parent or guardian.
  • The Superintendent has final authority over the approval of applications. The Board of School Trustees will not hear appeals.
  • Continuation of transfer status is contingent on your child remaining a student in good standing.
