Katie Mathies, former Shelbyville Senior High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D3 Softball Championship

Former Shelbyville Senior High School player and current DePauw Tigers infielder and outfielder, Katie Mathies, will compete in the NCAA D3 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number two seed against the third seeded Saint Mary's Cardinals.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
