Girls Basketball Sectional Information
Mt. Vernon is excited to be hosting the 2023 IHSAA Girls Basketball Sectional #9 tournament. Details are below
Dates:
1/31 – Greenfield-Central v. Pendleton Heights 6:00PM
2/1 – New Palestine v. Richmond 6:00PM / Muncie Central v. Anderson 7:30PM
2/3 – Mt. Vernon v. Winner Game 1 6:00PM / Winner Game 2 v. Winner Game 3 7:30PM
2/4 – Championship 7:00PM
Gates: Open one hour prior to the first game each night.
Location: Mt. Vernon High School
Tickets: $7 (Single Session) or $15 (Season). Purchase in advance here -> Sectional Tickets. Tickets will also be available at the gate. BUY EARLY AND SKIP THE LINE!
Facility Entry: Presale ticketholders can proceed to the table on the left to be checked in. Those needing to purchase tickets can line up at the ticket table on the right.
Media Coverage: TBD
Restrictions:
– No banners/flags/posters permitted.
– No whistles, electronic or battery-powered noisemakers permitted.
– No basketballs or other sports equipment permitted.
– Spectators should remain outside of the track and off the playing surface at all times
– All-Sport Passes, 65+ Club passes, and staff passes are not accepted at IHSAA tournament events.
