Volleyball Drops Match Of Hhc Leaders

With the lead in the Hoosier Heritage Conference up for grabs, the New Palestine volleyball team dropped a 25-15, 25-15, 25-11 decision to Class 4A No. 2 Yorktown.

The Dragons are now 17-3 on the season and 4-1 in HHC play. Yorktown improved to 23-2 and clinched the conference title with a 7-0 record.

Lauren Wilson led the Dragons with 11 kills. Reagan Kleiman added seven kills and Rachel Burke five.

Honour Mallory led the Dragons' defense with 15 digs, while Azure Flagle tallied 11.

The Dragons are next in action Thursday at Triton Central.

The Dragons dropped the JV match 25-17, 25-18.
