Road Closure Monday 8-29-2022 to Friday 9-2-2022
Please be advised that the City of Greenfield will be shutting down Franklin Street from New Road to CR 300 N starting Monday, August 29, 2022 until completion of construction activities or until Friday September 2, 2022, whichever comes first.
There will be soft closures at the intersections of Franklin/New and Franklin/CR 300 N. There will a hard closure just north of the Greenfield Self Storage driveway and a hard closure just south of the residential driveways of Webb and Smith for southbound traffic. Access to all homes and businesses will be maintained. Through-traffic should use State Street or CR 200 N to cross I-70.
Closing the road significantly reduces the amount of time the contractor needs to complete the work, reduces the impact to traffic, and is safer for both the contractor and the motoring public.
