The City of Greenfield’s 40th Annual Heavy Item Collection Guidelines

229

City of Greenfield recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Greenfield’s 40th Annual Heavy Item Collection Guidelines

The City of Greenfield plans a two-week program to rid city properties of heavy items. Tyler Rankins Street Commissioner announced that the 40th Annual Heavy Pick-up would be as follows:

April 23rd for residents on the east side of State Road 9

April 30th for residents on the west side of State Road 9

Trash will only be picked up inside of the CITY LIMITS.

The eastern section will include properties east of State Road 9 to the City limits. The west side will include properties west of State Road 9 to the City limits.

Residents having items for pick-up should be placed at curbside by 7:00 am on your perspective Saturday. No items will be picked up in alley.

As always we do not pick up at business addresses, apartment complexes or churches.

No need to call the Street Department any longer for pick up, if you have any questions call 325-1680, leave message and we will return your call.

Once again this year there will be no household trash, limbs, tires, oil, batteries, building materials, basketball goals or other items designated by The Street Commissioner, picked up. Paint will be picked only when it is dry and in open containers.

Due to the rising cost of E-scrap the City of Greenfield will no longer pick up T.V.’s or Computer Monitors during heavy trash.
