GPD Contact Map

145

City of Greenfield recently issued the following announcement.

GPD Contact Map

The Greenfield Police Department has created this interactive map to assist our community in communicating directly with officers. We ask that the community use this tool to report non emergency issues they are having around their residences rather than calling 911.

Using the map below you can move your pointer over the area where you live to find your home. Loking at the street names should allow you to locate your home within a block. Then, move your pointer about the area until you find the area's Map Zone (G1 North, G4 South, etc). Once you have found your home within that colored area you can look at the table at the bottom of the page and match your area's color or Map Zone to the link on the right side of the table. Clicking that link will provide you a contact form for the officers who patrol your neighborhood.

Alternatively, we provide a downloadable high resolution map which you can use to find your home and we also provide a brief set of boundries that define the Map Zone as well.  Once you complete the contact form it will be sent to the officers who patrol that zone. The officers will respond to your email within a few days, depending on their days off or vacation time.

Please do not use this map to report criminal offenses that are occurring. This map is intended for you to have contact with officers to help with issues regarding ongoing parking complaints, general nuisances, other non-emergency issues or general questions you may have for a Police Officer.

As always, if you have an emergency please call 911. For other non-emergency needs (i.e. theft, criminal mischief, fraud, etc.) please call the non-emergency number at 317-477-4400. If you have sent an email to an officer and do not receive a response within 7 days, please let us know at police@greenfieldin.org.
