Community School Corporation of Eastern Hancock County recently issued the following announcement.
Next week Eastern Hancock Elementary will be participating in a project called No Cold Feet.
We will be competing with several other local schools to see which school and which classroom at each school can donate the most shoes.
Shoes of all sizes, kinds, and conditions are accepted!
Shoes that can be reused will be given to local people in need of them. Shoes that cannot be given to someone else will be recycled into playground mulch.
Please make sure pairs of shoes are tied together so that they don’t get separated from each other.
