Census Bureau: More women than men in Shirley in 2019

Of the 952 people living in Shirley in 2019, 50.1 percent (477) were women and 49.9 percent (475) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the East Indy News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 319-to-262. In the 65 and over age range, there were 49 females and 33 males.
